Lauren got Cedric off the track a few months before he turned 4. For the past 2+ years he has been growing and slowly being brought into work. Rhythm was brought to GWS as a lesson horse about 2 years ago. He had been started as a hunter and gone to a handful of shows, but very green overall. Since being here, he’s moved to being full leased by Ellie, a show team rider who worked with him since his first days at Gaitway. He’s spent the past year competing in Maiden HTs getting ready to move up to Beginner Novice next season.

Reminiscent “Remi”

Age: 16 years old

Breed: OTTB

Height: Just shy of 16hh

After an unsuccessful racing career, Remi was a part of the Wounded Warrior Project where veterans did groundwork to help with PTSD. He then retrained as an eventer. Remi is a novice packer with some experience at training level eventing, and he has schooled through preliminary level. Remi and Sierra are looking forward to an exciting show season.

The Highway Man “Wyatt

Age: 12 years old

Breed: Appendix Quarter Horse

Height: 16.1 hh

Wyatt joined GaitWay in October 2021 and will be working on learning the basics of dressage after a career as a hunter.  He loves food and neck scratches and thinks riding outside of the arena is pretty great.  We think he’ll make an excellent eventer!
