Suzan Hamilton (Chief Operator of all Farm Projects)

Suzan is our wonder woman of all farm projects. If it needs to get done, Suzan will figure out how. Suzan also fills in as an instructor for our Pony Pal program. Suzan owns, Sullivan, a Palomino QH gelding that is used in our lesson program. She and Sullivan love to trail ride and compete in hunter paces.

Amy Brumbach (Head Instructor)

Amy started her riding career while she was attending North Carolina State University at an English pleasure barn in Raleigh. While at NC State Amy worked as a breeding intern at NC State’s Equine Educational Unit, learning everything she could about breeding and raising young stock. After college, Amy’s worked at Rougemont Sport Horses in Bahama, NC under the guidance of Dr Ellen Ziemer, DVM and Dr Jerry Waddle, DVM. From 2003-2016, Amy worked at Equestrian Arts Institute in Mebane going from a teaching apprentice to Program Director/Assistant Trainer. Amy has studied eventing and classical dressage with Toney Massinople, Lynn Leath, and Emme Johnston. She is now taking lessons with Emme Johnston (FEI level dressage trainer) and leasing 20yo “New Lady Day” (aka Nueva). Nueva is a 20yo Andalusian/TB mare trained/shown through 3rd level dressage. Amy has earned her 1st level scores towards her bronze medal on Nueva and is hoping to earn her 2nd level scores as well. Amy trained her horse Journeyman’s Houdini from birth and several OTTBs.
